What’s really going on when celebrities apply for trademarks?

It’s happening more and more — news articles showing that famous celebrities and athletes are applying for trademarks.

For example, LeBron James applied for a trademark to protect, “Taco Tuesday.” That application was rejected only a few weeks ago.

So, let’s taco ‘bout it. 🌮

– What exactly was LeBron trying to do here?
