Indie Law Plans

(A year commitment is required.)

Think of our Indie Law Plans as a “remix” of a subscription plan and a payment plan.

Our team is in your back pocket for a full year. During that time, we’ll answer any quick questions you send our way. We’ll also provide 3-12 hours of “legal time” providing basic documents for you. These basic documents can be combined to provide things like an LLC formation, a contract, or guidance with copyright registrations and enforcement.

What I can do with “basic documents”?

Need an LLC formation?

That counts as 2 basic documents.

Need a copyright registration?

That counts as 1 basic document.

Need a contract reviewed or drafted?

That counts as 1-3 basic documents depending on complexity.

Frequently asked questions

What if I sign up for a lower plan, but then I want more services from Indie Law?

If we use up all of your “basic documents” under your the Starter or Standard Plans, then you have two choices. Either we’ll put together a flat fee for that project and you’ll get the plan’s discount off that, or we can upgrade to the higher. To upgrade, you’ll make one downpayment to account for the differences in pricing, then we’ll move forward under the higher plan with your original start date.

Will basic documents expire if I don’t use them during the subscription?

Yes. We’ll map out how we’ll use these during our initial call and quarterly checkin calls.

What’s a “quick question”?

Subscription plans include unlimited “quick questions.” These are questions that can be answered without additional research. Unless you are a client, Indie Law cannot apply the law to your situation and give you specific recommendations.

What’s a “basic document”?

Subscription plans include basic documents. These documents are essential for lots of businesses, and they’ll keep your business protected and operating efficiently. If the document you need requires substantial customization, that’s not considered a basic document. Basic documents include everything on the list below, but it’s not a complete list.
